The ceremonies I lead

Every ceremony is written for you, from what you tell me. There is no template: the words come out of how you met, the habits you've built, what makes you laugh, and what matters to you.

  • Secular wedding ceremony

    A ceremony written entirely for you, with no religious framing and no constraint on the venue — a garden, a barn, a wood, or the water's edge.

    What is included:

    • Two or three meetings to get to know you and build the story
    • A questionnaire sent to family and friends, for the anecdotes and surprises
    • The full text, written and revised until it sounds like you
    • Guidance for any rituals and for your witnesses' readings
    • The ceremony itself, with sound coordinated with your suppliers
    • A bound copy of the text to keep

  • Civil partnership (PACS) ceremony

    The registry office or notary appointment stays administrative. The ceremony gives the commitment the moment it deserves.

    What is included:

    • One preparatory meeting
    • A short, personal text
    • The ceremony, standalone or built into your reception

  • Renewal of vows

    Ten years, twenty years, or simply wanting to say it again — in front of the people who weren't there the first time.

    What is included:

    • A meeting to trace the road so far
    • The text, often shaped by your children and closest friends
    • The ceremony, intimate or full-scale

  • Civil naming and godparent ceremony

    A way of publicly naming the adults who matter to a child, without a religious frame.

    What is included:

    • A conversation with the parents and the godparents
    • A text pitched to the child's age
    • A simple ritual the other children present can take part in

  • Memorial ceremony

    A secular ceremony to say goodbye, built with the family, within the short time this moment allows.

    What is included:

    • A conversation with the family, by phone or in person
    • The text written to whatever deadline is needed
    • The ceremony at the crematorium, the cemetery, or outdoors
    • Coordination with the funeral director

Prices cover the meetings, the writing and the ceremony. Travel beyond the usual area is set out in the quote. A deposit holds the date.

How it works

  1. A first conversation, no commitment

    A call or a coffee, to see whether we get on. It's the only criterion that really matters.

  2. We build the story

    Two or three meetings, some unexpected questions, and a discreet questionnaire sent to the people closest to you.

  3. You read it, you change it

    The text reaches you well before the day. Nothing is spoken that you haven't approved.

  4. The day itself

    I arrive early, check the sound and the setup, and take care of the rest.
